WHO: Everyone (concert band, jazz band, symphonic band, orchestra, percussion)

Time: Call Time: 6:30PM Performance: 7:00PM


 

WEAR: Concert Black (Black slacks, black dress shoes, black blouse or button up shirt) 


WHERE: Brighton HS Auditorium (Students meet in band room)

 

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO:

  1. Be on time to call and dressed appropriately (students begin tuning at this time, they can be docked points if late)

  2. Sit in the audience with their group when not performing*

  3. Do their clean-up assignments after the concert.  (This goes really fast if everyone helps!)*

 

*I have asked the students to watch their peers when they are not up on stage performing, please help us by staying for the whole concert! All of our students have worked hard and deserve a full audience. Remember, we are trying to build a culture of respect and excellence at BIM and parental involvement/example is part of that. Thank you!  :)

Brighton High School Instrumental Music is excited to announce it will be fielding a marching band next fall and all 9-12 students are going to be allowed to participate. (Canyons All-District Summer band will still allow 7-12 this summer). Come see what all the excitement is about. We will be following our good friends at Alta High School (where we have several Brighton students marching this season) through the competition. This is the start of OUR BENGAL BAND!  

Please plan on your student attending the 2019 Marching Band Field Trip, Please go to the brightonbengalmusic.com and register online (or follow the QR code. You can pay the fee at your school finance office. The fee must be paid in order to attend! Please submit the permission form with your receipt to your director’s inbox.

When:November 2nd, 2019  8:45 AM-2:30 PM

Cost: $15.00- This covers Buses, Ticket to competition, a T-Shirt and dinner that evening.

Where: We will meet at Brighton HS and bus to American Fork HS. We will arrive back at Brighton HS for parent pickup.
