DATE: December 11th  (Departmental Concert)

WHO: Everyone (concert band, jazz band, symphonic band, orchestra, percussion)- Choir will be joining us!

Time: Call Time: 6:15PM Performance: 7:00PM

WEAR: Concert Black (Black slacks, black dress shoes, black blouse or button up shirt) Holiday accessories are encouraged.  

WHERE: Brighton HS Auditorium (Students meet in band room)

STUDENTS ARE EXPECTED TO:

  1. Be on time to call and dressed appropriately (students begin tuning at this time, they can be docked points if late)

  2. Sit in the audience with their group when not performing*

  3. Do their clean-up assignments after the concert.  (This goes really fast if everyone helps!)*

*I have asked the students to watch their peers when they are not up on stage performing, please help us by staying for the whole concert! All of our students have worked hard and deserve a full audience. Remember, we are trying to build a culture of respect and excellence at BIM and parental involvement/example is part of that. Thank you!  :)

  • Congrats to the 2018-19 Brighton Orchestra for going to State Orchestra Festival and earning excellent ratings!

We have set a date for our parent meeting for tour. Please make sure you are planning on attending.  There is also another fundraiser opportunity for your students. If you have a child interested, send them to Mr. Emrazian, the choir teacher. He is heading up this fundraising opportunity. 

 

Meeting: December 19th @ 6:30pm

 

Tour: Anaheim, CA (More info upon official approval)

 

Tour Dates will be: April 1 (evening departure)- April 5th

 

Cost: $800-$1000

Please make sure you are planning fiscally if you are planning on having your child participate, there will be more opportunities to fundraise, but you can find more information HERE.
