FAQ SECTION-

WHAT ARE THE MUSIC BOOSTERS?

Brighton Music Boosters is an organization of parent volunteers who help make the Brighton Music Program more successful.  They help with fundraising, community events, parties, uniforms and public relations.  Much like the booster programs for the sports teams, we want to music students to feel successful and part of a community.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

Every parent with a child in Band or Orchestra is automatically considered a booster.  If you want to help more, great!  Feel free to reach out to our leadership team (link) or come to our meetings held every month on the ___ at 7 pm.

WHAT HELP DOES B.I.M. NEED?

The Booster Association is headed by a leadership team, their job is to communicate with Ms. Mortensen and help the subcommittees. We have subcommittees for fundraising, uniforms, communications, & logistics.  These subcommittees help headway projects in their specialized area. Let the leadership team know if you are interested in a subcommittee. There are also opportunities to volunteer at events or donate items, check out the volunteer sign-up for more information. If you see a need that needs to be filled in the program, feel free to reach out to our leadership team.

CAN MIDDLE SCHOOL PARENTS BE INVOLVED?

We consider the students at Albion & Butler to be a part of the Brighton Instrumental Music Family.

DOES IT COST MONEY TO BE A BOOSTER?

No.  There is no registration fee.  We do ask for donations for food items and such, at times, but it's all voluntary.

WHAT EVENTS DO BOOSTERS RUN?
